mabubulas – strong [matipuno]
nagsasanib – joining together or combining [nagsasama]
laho – darkness or eclipse [kadiliman]
sapul – from an earlier point in time [mula nuong...]
pagkasubyang – wounded by splinters [pagkasalubsob]
baging – vine
sigid – thin vine
limatik – leech [linta]
kagyat – immediately [agad]
sumungaw – to peer out of, or lean out of a window [parang dumungaw?]
sipatin – to look at closely [titigan]

I wish you were around when I was studying Ibong Mandaragit when I was in high school. I remember finishing the book by candlelight in time for our finals and my-oh-my it was a difficult read!
